Samsung is soon to launch the 6th generation of its Galaxy Watch and followed by the Wi-Fi-only variants, the LTE variants of the Galaxy Watch 6 Series have also made it to the FCC certification website.

Here's more about it.

Very recently we spotted the Wi-Fi-only variants of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 Series on the FCC certification platform and now the LTE variants have also made it to the certification platform, pointing that the device is sure to have its debut soon.

The 44mm and the 40mm variants of the smartwatch have appeared on the FCC platform with model numbers SM-945U and SM-935U and the two variants have been certified with FCC ID of A3LSMR945 and A3LSMR935, respectively

Both the variants will support 4G and 3G network connectivity along with Wi-Fi(single band – 2.4GHz), Bluetooth, and NFC support.

Here are the test results of the device on LTE band 26.

The EMC(electromagnetic compatibility) test report states that the device compiles with the necessary set standards.

The SM-945R and the SM-935R variants spotted on the FCC are the added global variants of Samsung's Galaxy Watch 6 Series, just like the Galaxy Watch 3 series which came with the same sequence.

Speaking about its battery specs and travel adapter, the LTE variant also has the same battery spec and the same travel adapter as the Wi-Fi-only variant. The device will come along with a travel adapter which has a model number EP-TA800 and will support a 25W wired fast charge feature. However the Wi-Fi only variant had a wireless charger with model number ER-OR900, but the LTE variant has been listed with a wireless charger with model number EP-OR900. As per reports, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Series will have improved battery backups of 425 mAh and 410 mAh respectively for the 44mm and 40mm variants.

Regarding its other expected features, the device is likely to be powered by the brand's own Exynos W980 chipset along with bigger displays, thinner bezels, and curved frames.

Since both the LTE and Wi-Fi-only variants have appeared on the FCC certification, we won't have to wait for long to see the Galaxy Watch 6 Series smartwatch to have its launch.

Late last month, the 5K renders of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic with a rotating bezel were also shared by us, Do check it out.
